[…] threatening letters, Tokio Hotel boys pressed charges against the girls because of harassment, so until what point are those fanatics ready to go for their love to their idols? Why are the Tokio Hotel boys afraid for their lives, it’s a report from *insert names of Journalists we don’t give a shit here*

On those images filmed last April by the camera of the gas station in Hamburg, Tom Kaulitz, one of the member of the band Tokio Hotel hits one of his fans.

“Tom Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel is said to have punched the face of a young woman”
“When he hit me, I fell on the ground”

An attack for which the guitarist was condemned last Monday, yet the guitarist assumes that he is the victim, this fan and her friends are said to harass the band on a daily basis.

“- They were here… they are here
- No, they’re not here.”
“Bill’s house”

Hiding in front of their places, car chasings, harassment of their relatives, threatening letters, since more than a year, the band Tokio Hotel lives in the terror of those young women.

“Tom: they are not fans, but people very disordered who really need help.
Bill: we got used to the fact we always have to have bodyguards with us. We can never move alone.”

So, is Tokio Hotel in danger? Who are those girls who *the sound stopped I don’t hear the word, I think it’s “hate”* them? Why are they acting hidden?

“Journalist of Gala: They’re really looking forward to push them to their limits, for that they react.”

We’re about to discover why now Tokio Hotel boys are afraid for their lives.

Last week in Belgium, Tokio Hotel fans were camping since 5 days in front of the concert venue, where the band, currently on a European tour, will perform.

“We came in advance because we want to be sure to be first row during the concert. It’s important for me.”

Tokio Hotel are four German boys from 21 to 23 years for who the career exploded back in 2005. If their music doesn’t make the critics enthusiastic, the personality of the singer Bill, and his twin brother Tom the guitarist, fascinates. With his look of an androgynous hero coming from a manga, he became the idol of teenagers. Fans for who the fervor hasn’t changed since the very beginnings of the band.

“Even if they weren’t here for a year, we’re still here for them.”
“Of course we sleep here. For sure I won’t move until I see them.”
“We’re so used to see them that now, it’s like a need, it’s like a drug.”

Tokio Hotel owe their success to their fans, so they do everything to keep their dedication alive.

“Tom: At every concert, fans are coming to see us backstage. The principle is easy, fans are chosen by a random drawing.”
“Bill: we always try to have time for our fans, when we arrive somewhere, we’re always in a hurry of course, but we always accept to write something for them, or to take pictures.”

On his website, the band has his own tv channel, backstage recordings, interviews, the public can follow Tokio Hotel’s activities, a very special Interactivity for a band, which is nowadays going against them.

“Writer of the book “Tokio Hotel black and white “: Little by little, we always always want more. Fans are now going in the garden of the studios, they always do more and more.
“Journalist of Gala: There is a kind of escalation in the production of images, and in the closeness they can keep.”

“Fan: look, this is Bill’s house, this is an historical site…”

On internet, the fans post the photos of their achievements like trophies to show until what point they’re ready to go for their idols.

“Fan: Bill’s house, we’re going to try and enter. We’re going to see Bill’s mother. I start going?”
“- Hey, Bill really looked at me.
- Really?
- Yeah.
- He showed you his finger?
- No he didn’t.”
“So, we let our trace, some girls insulted the French fans, they say “France is shit” it’s not true…. So here, the studio!
Look, he is taking his bad.”

Homes, studio, relatives’ places, in that Tokio Hotel chase, the most determined is a little group of French fans
“They are here…. They were here, but they’re gone.
They must have left because they heard us running.”
“Perrine: the most the fans can see them, the happier they are. There is like a challenge between fans, to know the ones who will see the boys more often…. Some girls are even counting how many times they saw them. “

And Perrine knows what she’s talking about, with her group of fans, she didn’t hesitate leaving France and her family to settle down in Hamburg in Germany, the city of her idols. Goal: to be as close as possible with the boys every day.

“He goes faster! He goes faster!
- Is it him?
- Yes it is!
- It’s not him…
- Yes it is, he’s coming.
- Not even a look at us!

“Ex-roomie of the one of the afgane: at first, it was more like an amusement, to make them react, but not a negative one, just to make them smile, make them laugh, and when they realized there was absolutely no reaction, they try to force them a little, and when they saw it still wasn’t working, they starting doing more and they couldn’t stop themselves and it went very far….”

“Journalist at Gala: They don’t yell ‘Bill I love you’ or ‘Tom I want to make my life with you’ but ‘I’ll kill you’ and ‘I’ll be there, you’ll see it’s gonna be a real nightmare for you’ they write letters that they put in their mail box…”

“Letter: next week will be a little nightmare, warning warning, we are not happy, we are getting impatient, do you understand us?”

Love turns into hatred, the fans claim themselves as the “Afghanes on tour” and to act more freely, hide their faces. Many afghans on tour finally decide to leave the group and one of them remember the moment when the things started going too far.

“They realized that putting scarves, the fact that they couldn’t see them scared the boys, they bought white masks that reminded them of killers in USA and they started wearing those masks during the car chasings and they noticed that it was scaring the boys, and they had fun of it.”

“Writer of the book “Tokio Hotel black & white”: they changed their position, they started throwing stones in the windows, and pieces of brick in the house of the twins’ mother.”

The campaign of terror reached her higher point back in last May. On those images, the mother of Bill and Tom Kaulitz has a strong fight with the Afghanes on tour in front of her place.

“Ex-roomie: their mother came only to film them, to show that they are here all the time, and that we can see their faces, and that’s why they attacked the mother, to take back the phone that she was using to film them.”

On the edge of breaking down, Tokio Hotel boys decide to start a judiciary procedure to force those extreme fans to stay away from them, a measure that hasn’t changed anything in the way the girls were acting, they keep on harassing the twins, until April 15 when everything changed.

“Journalist of “Closer”: Tom Kaulitz, one of the twins of Tokio Hotel was going back home, and stopped at a gas station, the afghanes were just behind him and one of them got closer to the car, pretending she wanted an autograph, and he had a breakdown and throw his lightened cigarette out of the car.
“Writer: they don’t like that at all, and in a furor access, the leader of the group take the cigarette and crush it onto Tom’s car. At that moment, he loses his calm and leaves the car and hit the girl.”

The fan can now put herself in a victim position. She presses charges and get a lawyer. With her friends, she pretends she never harassed Tokio Hotel and that they are fans like other ones.
